Fashion and Spinal Cord Injury?♿️Should we dress differently after an injury? Er.. HELL NO! Fashion is a form of expressing ourselves so why should we lose our identity now we are wheelchair users?!! Read the article “Strike a Pose” in Spinal Injuries Association Magazine, Forward where I have contributed to the article about my experience with fashion and disability. Fashion in my opinion should be FOR ALL.
I will NEVER lose my passion for fashion! Just recently in LA visiting my soul sista/goddess friend @therealangelarockwood we were shoe, dress and make-up shopping! I was so proud of her hitting the catwalk at #lafashionweek ? regardless of her spinal cord injury like mine! She was amazing and she’s doing great things about altering people’s perceptions of disability within the fashion industry.
Whatever you wear rock your outfit with confidence! Don’t let anyone put you in a.box because of your disability.
And remember… LIFE IS TOO SHORT, BUY THE SHOES!!!!!!?????
